Blogoversary!

July 26th is Corgipants' blogoversary! And in following with tradition, I am having a little blogoversary giveaway contest. (Thanks to If Ponies Could Knit for having her own giveaway which reminded me to post mine!)

The prize package will contain:
1 issue of Workbasket magazine, circa 1958
1 cross stitch Christmas ornament kit to get you working on the holidays!
at least 1 craft item/pattern tailored to the winner's likes
some candy of some sort (not chocolate due to melting temperatures here right now)

How do you enter?
On our recent trip to Ohio, we went several places and enjoyed lots of fun things! This is one building we stopped at.

What business/establishment do you think this is? Comment on THIS POST with your guess.

Entries close July 25, 2008 and I will choose a winner from all the names (not just the ones who guess correct) and post the winner on Saturday the 26th. Random draw from a hat-old school style!

    happy blogiversary. i hope you have another great year. i think that your building here is the home of a famous celebrity but i don't know who. either that or a senator's house.

    I think it was a bank at one time, but now it is ......... we have a dentist office in a couple to towns over that reminds of this building, it was a bank and now the office is on the bottom and they dentist lives on the top floor. He uses the drive through part for his carport, but I don't think you stopped by a dentist office ..........so I'm going to say a restaurant.

    Hooray! Congratulations on both blogoversaries! I found Swap Dex through a friend of a friend, and I just love it! Thank you so much for the time you devote to keeping it going.

    I, for one, have never been to Ohio. To me it looks like it is either a library of some sort or a convention type center. (The chandeliers through the windows are what I noticed.)

    Hmmm...I'm not sure. It looks too classy to be something lame like a post office. I'm gonna guess that it's a Bed and Breakfast.

    Congrates on your blogoversary! I think it's a historic place of someone that lived there just not sure who, but now it's a resturant or a B&B.

    I think that the building is the information center at a rest stop right inside of the Ohio border :-)

    I think it's the front end of the Quaker Oats Factory... something like the Welcome Center. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it! In other words, I have no clue!

    I'm going to guess way out there and say a fancy McDonalds.....up in Toledo we had an old bank that was made into a McD's - so......it's not that far fetched!!

    Well, if this were in my area of the US (Pacific Northwest), I'd say it was a Starbucks. What? Doesn't your coffee shop look like this? OK, if that's not it, I hope it is the library. That would be beautiful for a place that gives so much to the community!!

    I've never been to Ohio, but I would guess maybe a Visitor's Center or a Community Center? I'm stumped. Maybe a post office?
