How do you enter?
On our recent trip to Ohio, we went several places and enjoyed lots of fun things! This is one building we stopped at.

What business/establishment do you think this is? Comment on THIS POST with your guess.
Entries close July 25, 2008 and I will choose a winner from all the names (not just the ones who guess correct) and post the winner on Saturday the 26th. Random draw from a hat-old school style!
I think it's a visitors center. Congrats on your blogoversary!!!

Hmmmmmmm...the reception hall where you got married? I have no idea. Happy Blogoversary!!!
ReplyDeletehappy blogiversary. i hope you have another great year. i think that your building here is the home of a famous celebrity but i don't know who. either that or a senator's house.
ReplyDeletejenny
the flags make it look like a gov. building. a post office maybe?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your anniversary! I think that building is a hotel! Lori
ReplyDeleteHi Jenna,
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogoversary and thank you for running The SwapDex!!!!
I think it was a bank at one time, but now it is ......... we have a dentist office in a couple to towns over that reminds of this building, it was a bank and now the office is on the bottom and they dentist lives on the top floor. He uses the drive through part for his carport, but I don't think you stopped by a dentist office ..........so I'm going to say a restaurant.
Hooray! Congratulations on both blogoversaries! I found Swap Dex through a friend of a friend, and I just love it! Thank you so much for the time you devote to keeping it going.
ReplyDeleteI, for one, have never been to Ohio. To me it looks like it is either a library of some sort or a convention type center. (The chandeliers through the windows are what I noticed.)
Hmmm...I'm not sure. It looks too classy to be something lame like a post office. I'm gonna guess that it's a Bed and Breakfast.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the blogiversary :)
Wild guess: the Ohio Governor's Mansion?
ReplyDeleteA restaurant or hall? Or a bank? huh.
ReplyDeleteCongrates on your blogoversary! I think it's a historic place of someone that lived there just not sure who, but now it's a resturant or a B&B.
ReplyDeleteCongartulations on your blog. I think it is the hotel you stayed in.
ReplyDeleteI think that the building is the information center at a rest stop right inside of the Ohio border :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogiversary!
The chandeliers make it look like a restaurant to me, but I really have no idea.
ReplyDeleteI think it's the front end of the Quaker Oats Factory... something like the Welcome Center. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it! In other words, I have no clue!
ReplyDeleteIt's a bordello. Ohio is not your average place.
ReplyDeleteA funeral home? Looks really nice, can't wait to see if I am correct!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your blogoversary!
Congrats on the anniversary! I am guessing a hotel? I don't know. I love the swapdex! Thanks.
ReplyDeletegosh, I don't know a restaurant? maybe a bed & breakfast
ReplyDeleteCongrats! My guess is a bank.
ReplyDeleteIt's a Denny's or IHOP restaurant...I think. Congratulations on both of the blogs and thanx for Swap-Dex. I'M A SWAP JUNKIE NOW!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your blogoversary, I going with a bank.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogoversary!!! My guess is maybe a Country Club???????????
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogoversary!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my contest. Glad to remind you with mine ;)
My guess is post office. (First choice was visitors center, it was taken)
Hello Jenna! Thanks for stopping by! Love your Corgi things - I'm going to give your site to a friend who has a Corgi - "Willie" - she'll love it!!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess way out there and say a fancy McDonalds.....up in Toledo we had an old bank that was made into a McD's - so......it's not that far fetched!!
Karla & Karrie
Well, if this were in my area of the US (Pacific Northwest), I'd say it was a Starbucks. What? Doesn't your coffee shop look like this? OK, if that's not it, I hope it is the library. That would be beautiful for a place that gives so much to the community!!
ReplyDelete-Shawneeh at yahoo dot com
I've never been to Ohio, but I would guess maybe a Visitor's Center or a Community Center? I'm stumped. Maybe a post office?
ReplyDelete~Lolly
I'm gonna say library!
ReplyDeleteA bank? It's looks too government-y to be a yarn store which is what I would want.
ReplyDeleteHappy blogoversary!
