I haven't mentioned it lately but I'm still running. I'm in week 6 of training for a 10K in November. Yesterday was my longest run in quite a while, 6 miles. It went perfectly, I maintained an even pace the entire time and ended knowing I could still do more.
This is the first step in getting ready for the Illinois Marathon next year, which I'm running with a relay team from work. This winter I'll probably relax a bit and then gear about in February or March with another round of this training schedule.
